Is this in 1 season???

I had that problem in my first season with Groningen. The solution? Don't play with wingers.

Get technical midfielders, a pacy striker who likes to beat the offside trap, and BOOM. Lots of goals by your striker (and, also, by the AM and attacking CM)

@Kwarzkzak, it's hardly a solution if his two best players are wingers and Real Madrid is built around a certain system. He'd have to sell half his team or retrain them.

I'd suggest playing with a F9 striker, for some reason they seem to score a lot more.

Hah! That's true, I suppose.

Perhaps he could try a system with two wingers (Ronaldo and Bale, I guess? I don't pay attention to Real) and 2 strikers, with one of them being a SS'er (that still looks weird, haha), and the other an AF?

Or, possibly, keeping the shape but TI'ing the team to play through the center of the pitch, and PI'ing the wingers to shoot less and pass more.

Personally though, I gave up trying to develop a system with wingers.

Play with two strikers. Problem solved.
