During my Chelsea save I was messing about with The Tactics Creator and the sliders to see what I could come up with. I tested each one of these kind of Random Tactics in a game, I came to a 4-3-1-2 formation that relies on player swapping and through balls.

Beat a random Scottish team 7-0 first game with 37 shots and 34 on target, 82% possession and 13 CCC's. I was Impressed, even more so when I noticed my Opposition didnt have a shot. So I kept it, played a game against Bayern Munich. Won 4-0 while fielding players like Bertrand, Hilario, Borini, Mc Eachran and So on, Bayern played a strong team, Ribery, Schweinsteiger, Klose, Gustavo, Badstuber. Had again a larger possession with 60%, 20 shots to Bayerns 7 and 7 CCC's more than tripling the German Club's.

These are so far the only games I've used it in.

Has anyone else had a similar thing?

Laffles, the 4312 is with a flat miedfield?

Yeah. Its hard to explain all the sliders and stuff though.
Works though, Thats for sure.

i tried that formation in the new patch coutless times and always failed.
My original idea was a strong presence in miedfield and a creative force bombing through balls to a fast striker. Never worked though.

Heres a little taster. Played a mixed team, and Galastaray are never the easiest team to beat.

Why are you making so many threads? You seem to be churning out tactics every day.

To be fair, I'm no tactical genius. But it's pretty easy & simple to get high amounts of possession with Chelsea, I'd say it's easier to do with them then it is with Barcelona..

It'd be more interesting if you tested with a lower team.

This tactic uses cheats. Fernando Torres scoring pffft........

I like making tactics.

I have 3 Threads about tactics, One which is no longer an 'active' thread, A request thread and this. Thats Hardly Loads, I wouldn't have made this is I didnt think it was interesting...

TBH most tactics will work when managing a team like Chelsea (unless the tactic is really bad) I'm guessing the success is down to the quality of players you have rather than the tactic oO)

What Danny said. A 'diablo tactic' is a very versatile tactic. It can be played with almost every team, in any league and in any save or situation. Playing it with Chelsea is all fine and sound, but testing it out with several other clubs, including lower league teams and smaller teams outside of the top European league bracket would prove itself as a very good tactic.

With all respect to the Blues, they are a good side, but it's fairly simple to achive something such as this. Especially when you have the replica of a four-man midfield that they played in the 2009/10 season. Now that you are utilising the two strikers upfront with Drogba and Torres, it's fairly easy to get results like that.

Its not about the team Im using, and Im not really interested in the Possession as you said, Its easy with Chelsea. I was just shocked that no team so far has been able to touch my Chelsea team while using this. That was the point. It reminded me of the 'Diablo' tactics for Cm in the way it worked. The defensive marking cant keep up with the position swapping, free roles and through balls.

Don't get too excited Chelsa's quality players always have posession like that.

I dont think you can get a Diablo for FM11, the game is much more complicated than it was in the CM days and it's virtually impossible to do it now. Plus you are using chelsea and you think you've found a diablo after three friendlies.

Again. Has nothing to do with the team Im using OR the level of possession. Its just about how my team is playing, Creating a ridiculous amout of chances while remaining solid at the back. This won't be a Diablo as technically that was a glitch and was impossible to lose with.
This just plays in an incredibly similar way. Pulls the oppositions team to pieces. Once I've done a season I'll upload this, just to prove it :)

I'm sure you put some hard work into this tactic and it may actually be a very good one.

But your taster is a 3-0 home win vs Galatasaray courtesy of Torres, Drogba and Terry (and Essien and David Luiz etc I guess)? Not that tasty tbh.
