Now the 11.3 patch is out and i feel i am ready to help people who are maybe interested in starting with Sheffield Wednesday for the second time :)

You get a £1,400,000 budget for Winner which is easily achievable and £1,000,000 for Promotion.

Goalkeepers

Nicky Weaver
Richard O'Donnell
Aaron Jameson

I think you have a very capable keeper in Weaver who still has 2-3 years left in him and O'Donnell is good backup. If you gain promotion into the Championship you may need a new fresh keeper so i recommend you sign a keeper in the first season. Also i would send Jameson out on loan to give him some experience.

Recommended Transfers
IN - Alex Smithies - £700,000 or Roy Carroll - Free Transfer
Out - Aaron Jameson - Loan

Defenders

0,,10304~9327863,00.jpg

Lewis Buxton
Reda Johnson
Michael Morrison
Tommy Spurr
Mark Reynolds
Mark Beevers
Daniel Jones
Jon Otsemobor

You have a very experienced defence with the likes of Jones, Morrsion and Beevers but you could do with a tough guy at center back to help out. My main four defenders would be Reynolds, Beevers, Johnson , Morrison but thats up to you. I feel Buxton is absolute kak so i would sell him for £90k

Midfield

Isiaah Osbourne
Jermaine Johnson
Tommy Miller
Darren Potter
Chris Sedgwick
Gary Teale
James O'Connor
Liam Palmer
Giles Coke

Again you have lots of depth here and i would say your best four would be Teale ,Miller, O'Connor, Johnson . I feel you need a nice quick winger to grab you some goals and a good passer. Miller can pass a ball and Teale can be more than capable despite his bad stats. I would send Palmer out to gain experience as he can become good. I feel although Teale is good he will only last another year or so so i would look for a replacement for him.

Recommended Transfers

IN - Siphiwe Tshabalala - £575k
Delron Buckley - Free Transfer
Edu - Free Transfer
Chris James - Free Transfer
Tomas Horava - £210k

OUT - Darren Potter - £190,000
James O'Connor - £50k

Strikers

Nathan Modest
Paul Heffernan
Neil Mellor
Clinton Morrison
Gary Madine

You have no real depth here but i would sell Modest to Nottingham Forest as they normally offer for him. Mellor, Heffernan and Morrison can easily score 15-20 goals a season but i feel you need a few more new faces so i would recommend looking in the Premier League reserves. Madine will turn out to be great so keep hold of him at all costs.

Recommended Transfer

IN - Febian Brandy - Free Transfer
Dawid Nowak - £400,000
Julio Cruz - Free Transfer

Staff
I feel you need to reshape your staff as some are pants and you need a decent scout etc. Valentine, Smith, Smith, Palmer, Fickling and Evans should be offered 'mutual termination' as you can get way better replacements.

Starting Lineup (with signings)

Carroll
Morrison - Johnson - Beevers - Reynolds
Tshabalala - Miller - Edu - Buckley
Nowak - Madine

Starting Lineup (without signings)

Weaver
Morrison - Johnson - Beevers - Reynolds
Teale - Miller - Coke - Sedgwick
Madine - Morrison

Recommended changes

In - Chris Malkin - Physio
David Hamilton - Scout
Gary Bailey - Goalkeeping coach
Tony Cotton - Assistant Manager (must buy!)

Out - Chris Evans - Assistant Manager
Terry Valentine - Scout
Paul Smith - Physio
Alan Smith - Physio
Mark Palmer - Physio
Ashley Fickling - Physio

Tactics

I would recommend using Bodell's two up top formation as it works wonders with the squad you have at the moment.

Thanks for reading, I3east

i managed to find everyone except Bailey and Nowak :S and the assistant manager is spelt Tony Coton

for Siphiwe Tshabalala you need to have the SA leagues loaded I found, Tony Cotton as been mentioned was misspelt it should be Coton as for the others, Tomas Horava found him playing for Sigma Olomouc in the Czech leagues (again had to have them loaded or players from there loaded) the others I couldnt find. There are so many Edu's it could be any of them lol.

I picked up Dave Van Den Bergh on a free for cover on the Left winger, Febian Brandy to compete up top.

But over all good work :) came in handy

Edu

Which Edu are you talking about m8? seems i've found lots of edu's

Nice Post Btw.
