A Legend Leaves
Walter Smith has sensationally walked from the Rangers job just weeks after saying he was sticking it out for another season. It is believed there was a major bust-up between Alistair Johnston and Walter Smith and caused the Rangers legend to walk from the job. Rangers fans are said to be furious and protests could happen.

We caught up with Walter Smith at his home and he had the following to say ' Obviously I don't want to say too much other than I loved my time at Rangers and Im very sad I had too leave a year before I wanted too, I apologise to all the fans and they made it great for me, I would like to return to a Managerial Career soon but not in Scotland'

RANGERS ACT QUICK TO APPOINT NEW MAN
Rangers have acted quick to appoint a new manager after Walter Smith resigned following a bust-up with Alistair Johnston. They have appointed Shaun Rutherford a very inexpieranced manger and supposedly a close friend of Mr Smith.

Shaun Rutherford had this to say 'Rangers are my boyhood team and I dreamed of playing for them but that didn't happen so becoming manager has really made up for that. I still feel like Im dreaming and I want to bring all the success possible to Rangers and make Ibrox a fortress again'

MAJOR BUST-UP!
3078024428.JPG

Just days in to the job Shaun Rutherford has had a bust-up with one of his players, Jerome Rothen. Jerome had went to Shaun making sure he was in his plans because it was ex-boss Walter Smith who brought him to Ibrox on loan. It ended badly due to Mr Rutherford not giving Rothen what he wanted and he has had his loan terminated and sent back to his club Paris Saint-Germain.

Shaun Rutherford had a few words to say ' I dont have much to comment on the matter but I can tell you Jerome has been sent back to France and will not be playing for Rangers and a disagreement between us'

Shaun Rutherford has confirmed Pedro Mendes and Kris Boyd have left Rangers to Sunderland and QPR respectively. Mendes left for a fee of £4m and Boyd for £5.25m. It has raised some much needed funds for the boss and he has already got targets. We understand the Rangers boss is in advanced talks with Aberdeen, Hearts and a major european club over talks for players.

We expect to find out later today what players Rutherford is after.

New faces in and out of Ibrox!
David-Goodwillie-001.jpg

The Shaun Rutherford revolution has certainly begun with staff and player changes around Ibrox. Ally McCoist has took a step back and become a coach at Murray Park and his replacement is Dundee United assistant manager Peter Houston, Ian McGuiness has joined as Physio and Bobby Hope from West Brom as a scout. Micheal Watt and Billy Kirkwood have both left the club to become assistand managers at Dunfermline and Kilmarnock respectively.

Now on to players. Rangers have completed deals with Hearts and Dundee United for winger Andy Driver costing 1.8 million and striker David Goodwillie who cost the Ibrox club 2 million pound. We expect Rangers to have a press conference later today revealing the two players.

We are now live in Glasgow at a press conference with Rangers boss Shaun Rutherford and his two new signings.

REPORTER: Are these two players your first choices.
RUTHERFORD: Yeah they were and Im so happy I got them. We had back-up choices in Ruud Van-Nisterooy and Sone Aluko but we cancelled deals for they players.
REPORTER: David are you happy to be at Rangers? Do you think you will do well?
GOODWILLIE: Im estatic! Honestly Im buzzing and everything just seems like a dream. I hope and think I will do well I have a target of 15 goals this season.
REPORTER: Andrew, why did you leave Hearts when they were on the up?
DRIVER: Simple, Glasgow Rangers wanted to sign me.
REPORTER: But the team who brought you up wanted to keep you.
DRIVER: Who would you rather be at? I loved my time at Hearts but this is a step up in my career.
REPORTER: Fair enough, in my opinion you shouldn't have left.
RUTHERFORD: I dont think its fair to say that but Im going to end this now. Im very happy with my signings and will look to get a few more players in during the next few weeks.

Looks like I shouldnt continue this story.

I think you need to go more in depth mate. With the recent removal of the Stories from Recent threads people wont tend to look as much. If you go in depth, then you'll attract more followers! Good luck anyway :)

OK nice advice guys.

Do any of you know a really really good story I could maybe get some inspiration from?

Carines 'Being Bastian' I always recommend. But For your style of lay-out Dan's West Ham story

Looking great mate. Just keep going and people will follow you slowly but surley. Will follow if you wouldn't mind taking a look at mine and leaving me a comment its much appreciated

Good Luck
