I've played FM casually for the passed 3 years or so, but have never posted in any forums so i'm pretty clueless as to where I should post.

Main problem I have at the moment is a player wants a contract renewal, but is also uninterested in renewing. So i'm kind of stuck. Any ways to get around this?

He wants a contract renewal, but when I go to offer he says he's uninterested.
(He said this before he became annoyed at me not keeping a promise)

I've tried switching the contract responsibility to the Director of Football, no luck so far.
 
Sounds like you've ****** him off & now he doesn't want to be there.

If you can just try to wait it out for a while & try to make good on whatever promise you broke. Hopefully he will change his mind.

So even after you apologise he still won't enter talks?
 
Yea let him sort it out, might take a bit of time before he recovers from his "hurt feelings", what a cry baby lol. :)
 
Guessing you wont be getting a Xmas card from him this year :'(
