I get told I'm not strict enough, but I always end up sticking a player who annoys me in the reserves. I believe no player is bigger than the club and I always get MY way.

But I always have complaints by other players saying I aint strict enough - how can I improve this? can I assign a strict assit manager? also who will be good anyway for tactical, fitness wise anyway? I have Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan as my Coach and Asst at the moment......

Thanks!<)

What do you do when a player get a red card or skips out on training? Might have to do with.

I dont fine them if I feel it's un-called for. I only fined once. and only one player hasnt come to training and that was a new signing who fell out with me for putting them in the reserves to get match fitness...I warned them but next time I was going to fine them 2 weeks wages.

Any advice then?

If someone gets sent off, always atleast issue a warning. On their 2nd sending off fine them 1 weeks wages, then 2 weeks. If someone skips training I would just fine them 2 weeks straight away and leave them to rot in the reserves.

Always do something about red cards. I do the usual - first one - warning, second one or vicious foul - fine one week. I had forgotten to do it one time and immediately had four key players complaining.

Yeah, it's a bad idea to just come out and automatically fine them 2 weeks wages. It's also bad idea to just keep giving out warnings. Corvette's system is a good idea, but there is a fine line between strict and..unstrict(?)

*sigh*

are your players not training well, are your players not performing well in games, do you have players who, despite having reduced training schedules, are 'unhappy with the high training workload', etc etc?

These are all things that are likely to **** of your other players and they need to be clamped down on... if you have 15 players who are all working their bollocks off in training and half a dozen who are just 'going through the motions' do you not think the other players will notice that and not be happy?

The red/yellow cards situations, whilst not irrelevant, have very little bearing on your overall squad discipline...
