Usually when an FM game comes out i get it and immediately start a game with man city (boyhood team got nothing to do with the money honest haha) and every year i have an incredibly successful time at city for like 6 seasons or something but this year i just cant do it and have no idea why. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some signings/sellings or good formations, anything like that would be greatly appreciated.

Doria, Balanta, Barbosa, Adam Campbell should put you in good stead for 10-15 seasons.

First names ?? and are they all future prospects ?? if so im after some instant impact players to set me going from the start

They are all future prospects. Full names - Doria, Eder Alvarez Balanta(?), Gabriel Barbosa. Balanta and Doria could probably be rotation options for a big team though, maybe not starters.

Depends where your looking to strengthen, defence/midfield/attack?

I'm not necessarily looking to strengthen a particular area really, i just want to build a top quality side. I think my main area to strengthen would be up front, need a top class prolific striker and maybe a body or 2 for midfield

Sign Lewandowski early on, 1st transfer window. He hasn't signed a new contract and you can usually get him for between 15-20 million, bargain for such a great player. For midfield you could try and sign Pogba, he'd be an excellent replacement for Toure when he retires. Also look at other players like Ruben Pardo, becomes a great deep-lying playmaker. Lucas romero, becomes very good but needs developing, Mario pugliese is the same as Romero, just cheaper. You can also sign Kesiuke Honda for about 1-3 Million immediately, he's quality.

If you can't get Lewandowski Have a look at Wagner Love, if he hasn't moved already, surprisingly good. Hope these help.

cheers ill give them a go. with regards to lewandowski, sign him and put him on composure training right away am i right ??

Yep pretty much. He's got such good stats already that he doesn't need much work, but upping his composure will make him even more clinical. He was a goal a game striker on my Chelsea save, was scoring from any chance, outside the box, tap-ins, headers...
