ive just progressed into the group stages of the champions league with dinamo zagreb by beating zilina and hapoel tel aviv and this is the group the games given me; roma schalke and the easiest of the lot barcalona. any chances?

I got Bayern, Sampdoria, CSKA and finished third, with same number of points as second, but poorer goal difference
I played with Hajduk, so..with proper tactics it is possible to be at least 3rd..
p.s. i beat bayern 2-1 at Munich D

Your actually quite lucky.

Reason being is that your not actually expected to stand a chance against these teams and could lead to the opposition being over confident when playing you. Also since youve nothing to lose it could really be a good time for your team to shine since there isnt any pressure.

Also, morale won't be affected as much if you lose, just as long as you keep the score respectable.

FM loves to cause upsets to be hones, I've seen loads of shocks in the Champions League, and also in the English leagues. Burton Albion just beat a full strength Aston Villa side 3-0, and Barca always seem to slip up against the less reputation teams.

i had a group like this with Debreceni VSC in champions league, manchester, paris-saint german, köbenhavn, and beat köbenhavn, home 3-0, away 2-1, paris-saint german home 2-0 away 1:1 and 1 draw within MAN utd at home, and a 3-0 loss at old trafford! so there is never to say never..
