Improvements to Newcastle squad 3rd season

Budget of 40M I want to try break into the top 4, about to start 3rd season, anyone have any recommended signings to improve my current squad, I was thinking Akinfeev cos Hughton says we need another keeper.

Sign Vargas as left side midfielder and defender. He is amazing. Asenjo is good but I have signed Gordon and he only conceded 17 goals in EPL for 1st season and 22 goals in EPL for 2nd season. Of course, Akinfeev is world class but he concede more goals for me in the my previous game. I regonized that it is depends on your defensive line to conceded goals.

Sign Marcano for DC. He is world class player.
