In need for a defensive tactic for champions league

Hello Im Managing Panathinaikos of Greece and i really need a good defensive wise tactic for those difficult champs. League matches against much better teams, Or at least any advice because everything i tried it was pretty much a big dissapointment.

Why not à 4411, Defensive. Using cautious and retaining shouts, yet being agressive so you dont invite too much pressure. Using many defensive roleS( not duties) like Ballwinners and defensive wingers.
