Inbox button goes missing

hi guys, its kinda weird.. i've been playing fm for quite sometime and the inbox icon goes missing in the game.. the one that indicates a number that tells you how many mails in your inbox do you have... and is there anyway to configure that bar ?

To be honest all I can say is to take out a missing persons ad and hand out a few leaflets.
