It's a simulation game, not FIFA. Officials will occasionally get things wrong, and if you complain post match they will stay silent if you're right.
Bad luck but it happens to everyone, most decisions are correct in my exp though
i've had it where a player was clearly about 5 yards onside with 2 defenders and the keeper between him and the goal but i didn't mind too much as i was 3-1 up in the 82nd minute anyway but it could have been crucial if it was a tight game. then again i have seen some very tight ones given correctly so i'm guessing it is just down to the ref on the day.
I suppose, but in FM11 with the added feature of the lines to show the d-line and your strikers line it looks silly when they get it wrong..
Yeah, but the referees don't see that do they? (/linesman) just like IRL, there's no goal line technology or whatever, we as the TV audience have the benefit of replays, but they don't, thus it's realistic

thast the whole point, simulating real life. I think its really good, and frustrating, i've had a couple chalked off that were legitimate, adds to whole character of the game (was fuming though!)I understand your point, it just seems asif SI are emphasising the mistakes officials make with these lines
Maybe you didn't notice, but in earlier versions the commentator makes it clear when it's actually wrong decision, he'll say something like "That looked offside from here!" or "Surely he took a dive there!" so its not really a big deal, its just an improvement.Has anyone else had it where you score a perfectly good goal, and even on the lines it shows you player is clearly onside, yet he is given offside. Anyone else had this?
Little off topic (but yet again not) Its not always I get the line if the player was in offside or not. Is there a way to get it on every offside replay? (I do get it sometimes, just not always)
