Increasing database size during game

Hi all,

Really enjoying the new game but I think I made a mistake and selected a small database when I started. I thought that when I added new leagues it would increase the size of the database, but now I think that's wrong. So, before I re-start the game (and throw away my first season!) I wanted to double-check that I do in fact have to re-start in order to have a large database. Is this correct?

I am assuming once you start your save you are stuck with whatever database you started with. Only adding leagues to play is to play in not adding players. If you are happy with the data base I would stay with it. If you don't best bet is to start over.
