Increasing desire for a new challenge

Can anyone explain to me why this happens ? 2 of my players have come to me and said this.

They are looking for a new challenge, they are getting bored at the club. Just like someone playing football manager might get bored of winning the same things every year and start a new save or move to a new club, the players are bored and want to experience a new challenge by moving to a new club.

Have a chat with them, and say you desire to win your league/champs league in the next two years. Generally this keeps them happy for long enough to get them playing well again.
