Firstly im in my 4th season with R.Sociedad and instead of spending the whopping £63 million transfer budget I want to bring through some youth players, problem is is that for some reason my club doesnt get any half decent regens! So instead I have to buy them which is something id rather not do.

R.Sociedads board recently just upgraded the youth and training facilities to make them state of the art. So anyone got any ideas on how I can increase the recruitment of my team so I can get some half-decent players?

Thanks,

PS If ive missed a thread on this whilst searching could you send me the link =]

i think there is a boardroom option where you can increase teh clubs youth recruitment network.

I believe you also need some good youth coaches at your club.

Yeah the standard of Youth coaches also help the standard of regens.

Might explain alot, ive only got coaches to work on both my youth and first teams. How come having good youth coaches increases getting better regens? I thought they only train them to reach their full PAs.

I don't know really. But having like a 20 "working with youngsters" attribute aswell as high attack coaching attributes willl help produce better attcking regens I've heard.
I never have my own good regens, I always have to scout the world for the best youngsters to fill my Youth team.

Let's not forget overseas academies from feeder clubs. And yeah, as previously mentioned youth coaches do matter too, so do your clubs reputation I think too.

I've just asked the board to increase my networking so ill see what happens with that, as far as youth coaches go... do i need to have coaches for fitness and goalkeeping? or can i just go for all the other training attributes?

i personally think it's luck. i've played well into the 2030's with state of the art facilities and not one regen had a 150+ CA, yet i've seen world class players from teams such as bologna, young boys, portsmouth etc etc.

me too, but i nvr thought of having world class youth coach in my team . will try it and see how my club regens fare next season.

get some get coaches. and also but some ******* good 4 star rated regens to ur team.

somethimes annually u'lll get a new intake off yoouths, and ur ***,man will oint out which player is the best. u train him and start letting him play games. then when it in his 20s or something, then he's a awesome regen. ;)
