Hi All,

Just wanted to reiterate the success of this corner strategy found on here.

My Team:

GK: Arugero
LB: Bale/Mattock
CB: Sakho
CB: Otamendi
RB: Renan

MC: Gourcuff / Veloso
MC: Hamsik / Moutinho

AML: Jovetic / A Young
AMR: Lennon

ST: Dzeko / Hulk
ST: Aguero

January 20th 2013,

1st Aston Villa (ME) pld 24 for 54 ag 15 pts 53

So cruising, my GD is +43 the next best in the league is +22 . So I decided to take a look at the player stats, find out which of my strikers is winning the race, to my amazement it was my CB!! Otamendi!

This corner set up below really does work wonders!!!

This is what i have tryed found it on the sports interactive website, good luck

Aim: Far Post
Inswinging: left footers on right corners and right footers on left corners.

GK: Default
DL: Stay Back
DR: Stay Back
DC: Attack Far (this is the primary goalscorer from corners so choose wisely)
DC Attack Near
MC: Lurk outside area
MC: Challenge 'Keeper
ML: Attack ball from deep
MR: Attack ball from deep
ST: Near post flick on
ST: Near post flick on

The primary goalscoring DC needs to have good heading, jumping, bravery, strength and anticipation which is why Phillippe Mexes has been so prolific this season for me, including a hatrick! From what i've read, height and weight don't matter in FM currently, so don't be tempted just to stick a tall guy on the Attack Far Post. If he's not brave and strong, he'll get outmuscled by the guy marking him.

Obviously it doesn't matter what formation you play, as long as the instructions match. Give it a few months and see if theres any difference, don't give up after 1 game
