Incredibly retarded number of yellow cards

Why is it that every foul is a yellow card? This is so incredibly retarded and unrealistic that even with Cautious tackling and Stay on feet shout(no clue if they are cumulative) players get sent off for double yellow cards and stupid fouls.

Of course in the press conference they ask me if I'm concerned my team got so many yellow cards, unfortunately there is no "the referee is a retarded moron" option.

I understand it varies quite a lot from referee to referee, but some of them are really card-happy.

I've notice this, I once had a game where 8 of my players were booked :S
 
Played in Italy and i think at the end of the season most teams had 8players sent off in the season and i know that Cavani and other player received yellow cards nearly every other games which is so frustrating.

Mike mentioned a while back that it is sometimes the same refs that ref mostly every game in some leagues or something, most of the time you get stuck with a card happy ref who has small ***** issues and enjoys being in contol over football players...

just check your Ref at the start, I recall seeing the ref of my 1st Prem game against City having already handed out 22 yellows and 3 red cards (he must have reffed the entire Saturday football schedule and then mine on Sunday) not sure if it is a bug or a problem that can hopefully be sorted out, hoping Mike will clarify things in a bit... ;)

Same I had a game with Derby, easy tackling and stay on feet yet they received 9 yellows and 1 red??

pretty much this, but it is also that old chestnut; its your tactics. most of us play attacking games, so watch the fouls when you get carded, most of the time it will be defensive players making hasty tackles because they are out of position and been caught short, particularly by pacy players, especially those playing high lines. Personally I dont see my side pick up many cards, but then Me > rest of you :P
 
Oh, I understand and accept fouls and cards by defenders chasing pacey strikers from balls over the top. Natural consequence of playing a high line and high pressing but for example when a long ball is coming at my defense and my defender and their striker dispute the ball with their heads, over and over again the defender commits a faul and then gets a stupid yellow card. I mean, cmon, it's a normal high ball dispute, yet this happens every time, sometimes even my striker ends up getting the card and then he gets sent off for faking a dive in the penalty area. Wonderful really.

thats less the "game's" fault, and more your defender's, check his aggression (i would say cehck dirtyness but thats a hidden stat). Vidic for me picks up more cards than Ferdinand in situations like that, guess who is the more aggressive player.
 
a referee in my game called russel fletcher has played 22 games and given out 145 yellows and 8 reds.....

I think his wife left him...or came back.
 
Already a few threads about this, SI know about it but dont see it as a problem.
