Why would we get rid of a decent player? He's been good for us since joining, getting rid would only give us £3-5m to find someone better. If you can suggest anyone who would come to us, better then him for that price. please do.

Not a huge blow, Johnson is a far better left back than he is right back without a dout.

Aurelio is a great fullback, but it hurts Liverpool when he is injured. They should look to other options in the summer though, as I don't think Glen Johnson continually supplementing at left back would be good enough.

Johnson should just be sold at this point. Aurelio's top, when fit. Really versatile, good squad player.

As already said this summer a new LB needs to be found, along with a new RB and CB Aurelio could be a good backup for Liverpool if he can keep fit
