Injuries & Yellow Cards!

So, I bought Football Manager 2011 today, and started a games as Liverpool as I always do, anyway I'm not sure if I've just been really unlucky or if this is a bug but I've played 6 games and so far had:

Injury's - 6

Yellow Cards - 11

To me that seems to be far to extreme, but that just may be me?


Anyone else noticed this or had anything worse?
 
Not had many injuries, I get about 3/4 yellow cards a game, pretty realistic imo.
 
umm take a look at your training schedules.
for the cards at rival matches tempers flare so it might be that. try setting tackling to cautions.
 
I get 1 injury a match at least and about 3 yellows with one red every 2matches , abit unrealistic but makes the game abit harder imo
 
I haven't had many cards, but Fabregas broke his leg first game of the season then Rosicky broke his leg in the third game. :S
 
I agree with you Danny, I've had an insane amount of injuries (Especially to key players, I.E Raul and Huntelaar) and plenty of cards to go with, irritating to say the least.
 
Not had many injuries but the amount of yellow and red cards im getting is a joke.
 
Well, all of these seem fairly difficult to manage.

As a Newcastle fan i started with them and as you all will know, we have Smith/Barton/Nolan etc. Barton and smith get sent off every few games and nolan got injured with ligament problems. Oh and to top it off Tiote decided he was homesick so i sent him back to the ivory coast to be a complete woman and see his family.

So yea, i have no midfield.
 
been lucky with this most games, although one game I got 3 injuries, I think 1 knock, and 1 red card...
ended the game with 8 players :/. But my opponents get 1-2 red cards against me, in my inbox it's been like 4 times, Arsenal beat 9-man Bolton. And I've only played like 20 games.
 
from what ive noticed, its to do with the in game referee rotation not being very good, so you will very frequently get the same ref, and if that ref is card happy, you end up picking a lot of booking and suspension over the season
 
Havn't had this problem on any of my saves so far. :S
 
had quite a few injuries at the beginning but after first weeks everything is back to normal. as far as the yellow-red cards are concerned I get a lot! there are many games when each team end a match with 4-5 cards each! this is not realistic!
 
I get this problem...a red card every few games...even when tackles are on cautious... :/
 
i'm really annoyed now cause every other match atleast 3 players are out.......due to suspension......
