Hi fellow managers

Just a question basically ask I play a 4-2-3-1 tactic with 2 inside forwards and an advance forward . My advance forward is set to run with bal often l. So far my inside forwards contribute with assists but not really scoring. Do you reckon I should set them run with ball so that they are more of a threat.

Ok will do. But just wondering whether anyone has tried this

i got a poacher who runs with the ball often
but also 2 inside forwards who do the same
the poacher scores almost a 2 goals a game, the inside forwards goal plus assist mostly
a inside forward who can run with the ball often is probably the most dominant role on FM

i'd say tehy shoudl run with the ball often as it means they can cut inside and create options to either shoot, play ina striker with or play it to an overlapping fullback which would stretch teh defence.

Although I'm using a 4-1-2-2-1, Inside forwards set to run with ball seem to be doing wonders for me. I'm in the pre season, but I've been against all top Championship teams (Blackpool, Cardiff, Leeds) and my inside forwards (Jonas/Seedorf & Obertan/Bentley/Ben Arfa) are doing brilliant :)
