I've been using my tactic which has the winger on the right, is in the most advance position, inline with the striker.

Lamela which is natural in AMR and competent in striker is the one who is playing the role. when i hover to him, it says "Natural"..

but in team talks, Team of the week, and in my monthly meeting (coaches says im playing lamela as a striker, should train him in that).. he is recognized as a striker.

so whats with the position? I want lamela to be as effective as possible, and i dont want to train him to ST if it wont matter

With his stats, he can be a very good Strikers or Attacking Midfielder too. I don't prefer him as Winger because he's kinda stupid

What im asking is, is the winger position in most advance position considered as AMR/AML or a striker?

I had that when I was Spurs with Townsend (I sold Lamela to money bags PSG)

Townsend still played well there anyway, I just retrained a regen to play AMR and ST to try and combat it.
