install question

Hi

Sorry for the stupid question

Can i install the game from the CD without using 'steam' ( whatever that is ) & then download the latest the lastest patch from website and play the up to date game from the cd, not using steam ? :S

im just really confused about how this game installs

Yes.

The game auto patches itself when installed using steam.

All other install types require you to download and install patches yourself.
