Installation Problem, pls help!

My brother bought a legitimate FM 2009 cd a couple of months ago. After playing it 6 hrs a day for the last 7 months he got bored of it and gave it to me.

However when i try to install it says the trial period has expired!! and asks for a product key which apparently is on the back of the manual. Unfortunately my bro has lost the manual so is there anyway of getting round this problem???
