installation problems

I bought FM 2011 on DVD rom format, but I cannot install it.
My system passed the requirements with flying colours, that absolutely is not the problem.
However, I have a Windows 7 64 Bit system so I think that's where the problem is.

Anyway so here is the problem: I insert the disk, and I click on "run autoron.exe".
It then asks me if i give permission for the programme to make changes to the computer and I click yes.
Then the installanywhere comes on, starts installing, gets to 100% but then says:
"Unable to execute the desired program. Please get another copy of the installer and try again."


What do I do?? Thanks for your help!

Hmm... Well it runs fine on Win 7 64bit. That is what I run it on. Perhaps your disk is corrupted somehow? You could see if you could return it. Alternatively, you could use the code to register the game on steam and download it instead of installing from the disk.
