Inter Milan - Is 3-5-2 just a rubbish tactic now?

Had so much success with inter and this tactic on FM 15.. now i cant seem to get more than 40% of the ball?

Would appreciate some help

You're not going to keep possession with it.

The wingbacks bomb forward at every opportunity, which will leave your flanks wide open and as far as passing options go, it's probably not a great idea either.

The front two also just bomb forward. Why is no one dropping deep to pull defenders and/or receive passes?

I'm also managing Inter in 2020 but i use a 4-2-3-1 with inside forwards and my possetion is around 63% every game

Some advices:

- You are playing wide but with short passes that does not have sense. And you have 2 forward's in attack role who are far away from the center mid's. I would change passes to mixed and put 1 forward in a support role like false 9 so he can link with the midfields. I didnt have good results with the 2 forward in an attack role.
- Higher tiempo and look for the overlap don't seem OK for me. Look for the overlap reduces the tempo a lot, i would remove that
- Your defence is too hight, i would use the offside trap
