Can't find this in the search so shall create a thread..

Currently playing as Man Utd.. I must say.. Are they the stingiest bunch of retards or what!! Everytime I request for something, they will reject.. UNLESS you say that it will bring about financial benefit.. Fernando Torres is unhappy in my game and is transfer listed for 30 mil.. Currently the team is short on strikers with Berbatov and Macheda out of form, Hernandez just back from injury, Dzeko suspended for BOTH Euro and Premier League.. and only Rooney left.. AND THE BOARD FREAKING SAID WE ARE DOING FINE AND DO NOT NEED THE SIGNING.. When we can only manage a 1-0 win against the Championship team..

Anyone with this problem too and how do you get the board to agree with you??

The board will never accept your suggestions because your an unknown manager.

To be fair, the board rejected your idea to sign another striker when you have 5 already.

That isn't unrealistic. Sell the out-of-form Berbatov to help fund the move. Maybe they'll be interested then.

What Wondermanager said, and also, Man Utd are quite a successful club which high standards and facilities already. So requesting the facilities to be increase won't be accepted till you're a more known manager that has gained the boards confidence.

I can see the boards point of view-

When you have a large amount of strikers, it seems better to nuture Berbatov's confidence and form back slowly, as you still have Wayne Rooney- And I'm also sure if you can't cope with 1 up front, someone in your team can play off the striker on the wings or just behind him.

Assuming you're asking for 30 Million from your board, the club may not have that money, or don't want to risk it on an inexperienced manager. Remember Man United's debt ;)
