SO I am currently manager of Real Madrid and Spain and when I pick the Spain squad for friendlies Barcelona always withdraw their players. I understand why they withdraw them because of the Madrid/Barcelona feud.

But I was wondering is there any way to stop this happening and to improve upon it?

I've never known that to happen before! Withdrawing players completely is news to me, let alone becuase of a rivalry at domestic level.

You didn't know you can withdraw players from international friendlies?

Yeah, on my Juventus game AC Milan always removes their players from friendlies. I try to get back at them by prioritizing their players lower when I can, but I think my revenge is falling on deaf ears!

Just keep picking em. Soon enough they get ******/unhappy. Anytime your domestic rival players are unhappy=good news for you, especially if they're a good team. Most of the time I get 1/2game instructions though

That's abit wierd I must admit, reall didn't know anything about any of that. Like someone has already said, just keep on picking them.

well mostly i think they do this cause Barcelona do not want to send their players to international friendlies where they can get injured etc. they have a congested fixture list with 2-3 games every week to its real crazy for them, believe me i managed them and in the end Messi was so tried he was out for 3 months:S
