Hey guys,

Is there a secret to accelerating players becoming natural in the role?

Had a player playing the role for 1.5 seasons and the key stats have improved but not the familiarity?

Any advice would be great, thanks.

There's no such thing as role familiarity. In short, if he has the attributes, he's absolutely fine to play there. You say key stats, but I assume you mean attributes? Have a look to see if there's maybe one or two attributes listed as Key that is still on the low side. In the end though, the role suitability indicator is just an indicator. Attributes are what matters.

Thanks for the advice mate, fairly new to the site so unsure on the correct terminology but that helps greatly.

No worries. While there's no such thing as role familiarity, there is such a thing as positional familiarity, so playing someone out of position does carry a "penalty", but even so, if a player has the attributes to do what's required, he'll be fine overall.
