Is 2014 worth upgrading to

I'll cut to the chase I've heard some pretty abysmal reviews however they do all seem to have a bias. I didn't play 13 as much as previous years but recently booted it back up and have got right into a save. So should I upgrade to 14 and is it a noticeable step up? Also is it more demanding on hardware as my laptop wasn't exactly over the moon when I was playing 13

I don't think it's that demanding on hardware. My computer could barely run FM13 for whatever reason, but it runs FM14 well.
I think the biggest difference in FM14 is your tactics need to be spot on to do quite well. As long as you find a tactic that works for your team (Or find a tactic online and adapt to it) then you should enjoy your save. I'd probably say there's a bit of an issue with strikers maybe not being as clinical as they could or should be, but there are a few strikers that will do extremely well.

Try the demo, see if you like it then make a decision!

No, we are at 14.2 and the ME is just shocking. SI need to sack their quality control people for releasing such a shoddy game.
