I know the new match engine sounds fun, but - honestly - I really really like FM24's engine. Like, really like. I think it's the best ever (maybe FM17 was better, but not by much) and I can't help but think FM25's complete re-desogn will take loads of patches before it starts working as they want it to. And honestly, like I said: I think 24's is brilliant; loads of different types of goals, build up play...I can't help but tihnk 25's going to be a step backwards before it goes forward, you know?
Is anyone else not actually looking forward to FM25?

To be fair, it's not just a "thought." The latest news development blog clearly states that the game is going to be a step backward.
I don't think it's for sure that it is going to be a step backward in terms of the match engine, but clearly, they had to adapt the code to fit within the new Game Engine (Unity), hopefully, it's gonna be the same as FM24
