Hellow guys,

I want to have 2 wingers and i want to play them on a way that not possible on fm i think.

So they need to stay as wide as possible and if the ball is on the otherside then drift inside is this possible?

That's how they tend to behave naturally for me when I've used wingers. However, things I don't do: play wider and set their individual instructions to those that tell them to stay wider or hug touchline (assuming they're available and not on by default, I haven't used wingers since the last step on new tactic system understanding and before I didn't look at the options that thoroughly).

Things to consider, then, is if there are individual instructions ticked in order to make them to be wider, untick them, not play wider.

Another option to try would be to tick the roam from position instruction.

Sounds like you want your wingers to have the Hugs Touchline PPM, not that difficult to get.

And yeah, if your left winger has it and is going to cross it into the box, the right winger is usually around the far post. If it's in midfield they usually stay wide in space.

Push them forward and set them as IF(s) and they will make diagonal runs into space behind the defence. Tell them to stay wider in the instructions and that should do it.
