Is it normal to be this slow

for the last few FM's it's been taking me roughly 10 minutes to get through an 'in game ' week on football manager

now i thought this was normal until watching a few you tube videos which seem to point to the fact that my game is slow as a snail

im not blessed in the computer knowledge department , all i know is i have a Acer Aspire 5551 and that i have used just over half of the memory.

any suggestions ?

Try going to preferences-interface and ticking the box "use caching to decrease page loading times"

had a look and it was ticked already thanks anyway though.
