Is it worth buying Wilshere this year?

He's transfer listed by Arsenal at the start of the third season for 8.75m. I checked his injury history and surprisingly he hasn't had any major injuries since 2015. I'm confused whether to buy him or Ward-Prowse. Ward-Prowse costs around 20m and there's many clubs going in for him so I doubt he'd join me but worth a try I guess.

How has Wilshere turned out in your fm saves?

I mainly used him as a rotation player and he always performed well, fairly injury free as well. I Think at 8.75m it's a no brainer, go get him!

Ward Prowse is more versatile, and consistent, also most importantly, injury free.
Wilshere is very very injury prone, and he wont be on what you would say are cheap wages..

Think about future as well, 20m now for a promising player or 8,75 for someone who is starting to age...
Ward Prowse will probably also ask for less wages which you need to keep in account as well...

I managed to pick him up on a free at the end of season 4, however, he didn't seem to fit in to the formation I was playing (not that he played poorly when selected). I still managed to make a profit on him when I sold him a season later to Baracelona.
