Is My Assistant Drunk?!?!?

Hi,

Last night I was playing my Ajax career, sitting at the top of the league and won 5 games in a row. I decided to nip outside for a cig so let my assistant take charge, I set it to use the same tactics and players. When I came back from holiday we had just played Porto in the UEFA Cup semi final and got trashed 27 - 0 (at home :O).

I couldnt believe this, I mean how the **** can you lose 27 - 0?????? I checked the team and my dope of an assistant had only selected two players (Saivet and Altidore). Surely this must be a glitch as its impossible to start a game with only 2 players!

Has anyone else had this issue?
 
No I haven't. But sorry mate I can only help but LOL there.
 
I hope so lol :P But yea your best bet would be waiting for one of the admin guys to come on as im sure they're better informed than me.
 
its not that i dont believe you but can you poet a screenshot of that score mate? my highest win/loss has been 19-0
 
Nope, never had this issue either but then I don't let my assistant take charge. If I need a smoke, I start the match and then go outside. When I come back in it is waiting for me at half time
 
27-0, haha! that's truly abismal. Surely you saved the game before you let the Asst Man takeover? Quit the game and start again before the match with a full squad, can't see a 2 man squad happening tbh..
 
need a screen shot of that surely thats a glicth or your assistant has a heroin addiction he needs to kick quickly.

My biggest win ever was like 33-0 when i was cheating in the bsp as a muck about nd from that expereince i found it boring as games took 15 mins to end due to the amount of chances so you smoke ciggies very slow my friend :D
 
i have seen this before mate, its just when you sort of half select a team or select no players at all and go to the screen just before a match and then go on holiday it SOMETIMES goes to the match with the selection you have made, i did it once in a similar situation and ended up selecting no players and only losing about 35-0 which when you consider i had no keeper it wasnt a bad result!

luckily i had just saved it so just reloaded it up. it has only happened to me once and dunno how i would do it again or anything but it certainly was wierd!
 
I'll defo sort some screen shots out, its not something im proud about showing off tho!

I didnt quit and re-load, whatever the result its as good as cheating. We did win the second leg 1 - 0 which restored some errrrrm pride :S

Woulnt be cheating in theory though, fair doos if you lost 2-0 or summat and you reloaded you might think yea im cheating, but when your assistant is a smack rat and you loose by a massive score you gotta roload man YOU JUST GOTTAAA (H)
 
why would you let your assistant be in charge of an important match like that

I wouldn't consider it cheating if you reloaded, because you didn't have a full team and in a real game the match would be abandoned/postponed/or the win given to Porto if your team fail to turn up, reload it mate, good post to see a bad result like this but its a 100% reload for me!
 
haha ive never seen a 1.1 rating before! thats impressive!

yeah i wouldnt blame you for a reload
 
How did one player get 1.1 and the other 6.0 oO)

I played a bit of fm 08 but it was already two or three months before fm 09 got out, and I kept wondering why I was losing games 13-0 before I realised that my right wing was playign goalie. For me goign into holidays often result in
a) bojan being offered for 6mil and my club refusing the offer
b) refusing that parent club that can lend you load of HOT players
c) pitch dimensions beign totally inadequate for your tactic
and so on...
I go onto holidays only when the league is won or the playoffs are won mathematically, and i evn give the first up since baràa manager was given the caoch of the year trophy and I couldn't stand it.
Back ont topic, reload man how could it be cheating?
