There was someone 2/3 years back which done some in-depth tests, to determine what attributes was actually needed more than others.
acceleration and pace was by far the 2 most important.
all my tactics since are based around fast counter attacks.

I've just this minute uploaded a newer much more in-depth experiment video that once again has a team with 20 for pace/acceleration but then also a team with 20 for the next best two attributes according to that very research! There's also a third team with attributes chosen by Reddit comments. I'd appreciate a watch:

Good video and thanks for putting in the time to prove that accelration and speed are the 2 most important attributes on the game. been screaming it for 3/4 years now but everyone wanted to question and doubt my thinking.
