Is there a catch up feature in FM?

It just seems that sub-par goalkeepers are making some incredible saves against my team all of a sudden. How rep has increased alot in the two seasons ive been playing and the quality of players is unrecognisable. My strkers would be one on one with the keeper and he hits it hard and low (not at the keeper, towards the bottom corner) but the keeper pulls off a lightning quick save that i would only expect to see from iker casillas or gigi buffon.

So does FM improve an opponents goalkeepers abilities when your playing against teams with lower reps?

that will obviously happen, like it does in real life, the players give it 110% to make a name and prove to everyone and themselves they can handle it with a team who is at a higher level

like i dont know if you saw Leeds vs Kettering a few months back, Harper, the Kettering keeper, an everday Blue Square Premier keeper made some tremendous saves to keep Kettering in it untill Extra Time where Fitness between non-league and proffesionals kicked in

its like real life, some team thrive on playing tthe big boys, some just fall apart,

if youre asking does the game cheat? then no. but like real some peopl get up for it some dont, rthis comes down to morale, personailty and hidden attibutes like temperament, important game attitude, pressure, etc

Diego penny always saves every shot i put at him, hes an absolutely awful keeper in real life but hes a beast on fm
