Is There Any Way to Form Rivalries With Clubs?

Is there any way to form rivalries with clubs?
For example, i am managing a level ten team from the superbladesman leauges and they started with no rivalries. I'm now in the championship and i still have none.

Is this because of almost back to back promotions or can you just not form them? Will a few years in the same leauge give me some?

I don't really know, but maybe if you ridicule and constantly state that you despise a manager, that may start a rivalry not only between the two of you but the clubs also. I'm not sure, but it may happen.

well by 2013 arsenal created a rivalry with man city... so i guess its possible

Maybe its to do with Beating the team and then loosing to them year after year maybe it comes more of a Rivalry lol maybe im talking **** but thats my suggestion

I did it on fm09. You just have to constantly hate on a team/manager especially before and after games, saying how you are certain you will squash them.

On my Notts Co game 2024 my main rivalry is still Notts Forest however I have formed rivalries with both Man City and Chelsea since the start of the game and I haven't said anything in the media about them, maybe it is just that I am winning the league from them every year

I imagine aswell if you are constantly in battle with the same team in a competition, eventually you would become rivals. Like United and Chelsea....
