Is there any way to scout players while unemployed?

want to keep track of a player, and some of his stats are unknown, was wondering if there is a way of scouting while unemployed?

Not that I know of. But you could subscribe to that player to keep track of him.

yeah i've done that, but I wanna see how his stats progress but some of them display -

I've never tried this but maybe if you select to attend each of that players matches? (by click on the 'v' between his team and his teams opposing team on match screen)

When you started the game, you didn't untick the box saying 'Attribute Masking', and as a result you can't see what a lot of obscure player's stats are.

And before you ask, no there isn't a way to change it mid-game.
