Is this a glitch or something?

I'm currently playing on 14 Nov 2011, in-game schedule. And the fact is on that day, almost every single player of mine was called for international duty, yet there is a league game against Birmingham that day :| So I'm using like 0 subs, and 8 of my main/reserves players who have retired from Int'l football =.=

Is it supposed to be..that way? Or it's a glitch?

Was the game rescheduled from earlier date?

Were they called up that day? If yes that usually means they won't be playing on that day, its jsut the squads being announced. Have you tried playing them, if they are on international duty then the game wont let you play them.

What patch are you on?

The game won't let me play them, I'm using all the likes like Danny Drinkwater or Davide Petrucci now as replacements

I'm on 11.1.1

This has happened to me before on previous versions in the Champions League Semi-Finals.

This is a nightmare situation and it does happen, its happened to me before on previous games. Its usually fixed by the 3rd patch. Best of going on holiday for the game and hope for the best.

O wait im on 11.1.0 =.= probably patching to 11.1.1 will help?

No, best is Add a manager to the opposing team and use a totally weird starting eleven against us. I just tried, and i got 13-0 xD!! but that sucks so imma patch.
