I am thinking of starting a new season with Blackburn Rovers and was just wondering if people would class this as cheating. if i went on the editor and changed their chairman to who it is now as they are going to be given a resonable amount of money in january to spend so it would make it a little more interesting but i dont want to be classed as a cheater, let me know your thoughs.

no, but give them a realistic budget, something like 5 million :)

presumably the next patch will include database changes like this...

won't it?

SI says:

'If you have to ask, then it is probably classed as cheating.'

Giving them the same/less amount of money wouldn't be though.

so instead of changing there transfer budget how about just giving them a little more in the bank instead, would that be better?

Change there budget to 8million its relaistic then... its not cheating its what is happening in real life

ok then just as long as know one thinks i am cheating as i havent see many people using blackburn but they have got a lot more money in real life, all the clubs on the game do have some money to spend i think some of the budgets are un realistic anyway, nearly all the premier league clubs have several million to spend.

We don't care if you think it is cheating mate. :)

It is your game, do what you want to enjoy it. :)

Just play with default settings and wait for December update :)

yeah but are they doing an update before the january one they normally do?

There will be a December 10.2 update and then a 10.3 around February/March.

I expect in the next couple of weeks.

Around the 16 and 17th

right o, well i dont think its cheating i think its true to life so its not that bad, cheers for your thoughts guys..!!

I'd give them something realistic, something around the 10£ million region would be fine.. I wouldn't give them more than that or it would be boring however it's your game, you decide :)

yeha i think your right i just think that £1.5 mill, is shocking for a premier league side to able to spend, especially when people like stoke have got roughly £8 mill and they spent a lot in august.

Indian poultry firm Venky's completed a takeover on Friday, and reports are suggesting an initial £5 million outlay on new players come the January transfer window.

Found that if it is any use to you.

ok then well thats helpful £5 mill it is that will make a lot of differance.

The main point of the game is to have fun, if this makes it more fun then go for it!!!
