View attachment 306225I am currently managing Liverpool on the 5th season...we are doing great since the 2nd season winning the league every year.also won CHL once and a few domestic cups.Balotelli is being great for me scoring 25-30 goals per season.I was pretty surprised to see Messi winning the Ballon d'Or this year...Mario was much better than him, better average rating, more goals in less matches and i think its unfair he didn't win the award.I dont actually care about it but i really HATE Messi and i think the game is leaning towards him

Messi more than likely had more, high rated games.
Average rating is just that; an average.

1 sensational game followed by 4 mediocre games will still yield a decent average rating.
Whenever I dive in and compare their seasons, I always find that Messi got decent ratings in big matches constantly and played well in all cups (national and international)

Maybe you are right...but i still hate that guy (6) and i can definately say that balotelli was SUBERB all year long and had no mediocre games.I build my squad based on teamwork/workrate and i thought of selling him at the very start of my save but i am so glad i didn't cause I'm so impressed

It dose drive me mad that Messi has pretty much a monopoly of the Balon d'or but he wins it on merit nearly every time.
I never got Balotelli to work but sounds like you've got him at he center of a solid system.

Any chance of a screen shot of his league history to see his impact?

View attachment 306144View attachment 306143View attachment 306142View attachment 306141View attachment 306140 1st season he was not impresive cause i was trying to find a role for him...after that he is just getting better and better.I use 3 tactics according to my opponent...a straight 442, a 433 with a DM and wide AMs and a narrow 41212...every tactic has a trequartista in the striker position.the 442 and the 41212 also have an advanced forward.the trequartista has "hold up ball" instruction and nothing else.I have 4 strikers (Balotelli, Sturridge, Origi, Jese) and i rotate them a lot.View attachment 306136 here you can see some stats from my last completed season.I'm always glad to post screenshots so ask away
