Hi, I'm sorry if this is somewhere else but I couldn't find anything. I bought the game off Steam and installed it.

I would like to be able to add the logo's and facepacks and fix the German national team issue but I am missing the foldes. All I have in my FM11 folder is db(with nothing in it), games, matches, sounds and tactics. There isn't a data folder or a graphics folder.

Also the SI folder is just in my documents and I can't find a folder that has Steam in it anywhere.

If anyone has a solution or knows the problem I'd be really grateful for any help thanks.

Again apologies if this is already somewhere else, I did search.

You're looking in my documents, to delete the German fake file, you have to go into your program files and find steam.

For your missing folders, just create them.

Sorry I might be being really stupid but where do I find the program files lol?

I don't know whether they're harder to find because I'm running Windows 7 or I'm just stupid lol.

My Computer > HDD:C > Program Files > Steam > Steamapp > Common > Football Manager 2011

Cool found them, thanks very much.

The folders for the logos and facepacks, where should I create them? In the my documents place or in the program files place?

Steam, Windows 7, Graphics Folder Location

Can someone just clarify for me, if going mad!!

I have installed FM 2011 using Steam on Windows 7.

Can someone please tell me the location I need to install the facepacks.

I have no Sports Interactive Folder under Documents but I do under Program Files X86.

Never had any problems in the past but this year is the first I have installed using Steam.

Many Thanks!

Ignore above, it's been a long day.

I had installed via steam and not run yet, the folders were not created until after I ran the game for the first time (for anyone else who is as stupid as me!....unlikely though)

installation problems with steam

I have installed football manager 2011 via steam and when I try to run the game a small dialogue box appears saying that some essential data is missing.
What is the data that is missing and also how do I fix this?

I have the same problem as yourself, any answers?

Hi again,

I deleted the files ages ago and everything was working fine. I've noticed though that the German national team is full of regens again. I've looked for the files but can't find them anymore. There is a file that's here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\football manager 2011\data\db\1100\edt

There's one that's called fake.edt, what will that do if I delete it?
