It doesn't matter if you have John Terry in League Two...

... your defence won't be the best in the league, nor will Terry get the best rating in the league. I would go as far as you could have Chelsea back line and it would not guarantee you promotion from League Two. This applies to central defenders only.

Thoughts?

My thoughts are that this is completely pointless and that you need to get a job/life/girlfriend.

Seems more like an opinion of you in another thread, but instead you just went and made your own.

poor

Well when I've managed chelsea on 2011 Terry has been the best defender in the Prem soooo....

(Alex also class)

to actually respond to the thread's main point, it doesn't if you have Terry if your Keeper, Full backs and other centre back are all ****. He can't hold the defence by himself! You also probably have coaches who are very bad at rating players so don't rate Terry as good as he is. But yes very pointless thread, quite frankly who cares?

But if you put John Terry in Accrington Stanley he wouldn't necesserily be the best defender... and that's strange

it doesnt apply to just central defenders. you can have the best striker but if he lacks support from midfield, you wont score as well. football is a 11-player game.
