It keeps taking me out of the game

Hi there, was just wondering if anyone could help my problem, recently the game has been taking me out of Football Manager. The game is still up and there are no problems it's just the game is not flowing and i consistently have to keep coming back into the game. When it does take me out the cursor has a loading sign next to it as if something is about to pop up like a crash dump but nothing ever happens.
Does anyone know why?
