I've asked for advice before but I thought I'd try my luck again. Despite people's best efforts and advice, my problem hasn't been solved. With the Easter holidays comes intensive play but with intensive play comes the jumpy 3D match view. :'(

The game runs fine to begin with, but after a couple of hours it becomes jumpy. Surely if it was a graphics card / drivers issue it would be jumpy to start with wouldn't it?

I've downloaded the latest drivers, a forum friend has OKed the graphics card and the temperature of the processor remains stable so what could the problem be? :S

It used to be fine but this all began following the PC being restored to factory settings and, from looking online, another gamer reported the same problem on FM06 after their computer was restored to factory settings.

Any other ideas what the procedure could have done to affect the running of the game?

Cheers for any advice!

What I do on my relatively underpowered laptop is change the display settings. I removed things like the stadium (particularly important), sky and so on. Then you are just left with the action. If you still have problems, try lowering the graphics quality settings.

yip, take off weather conditions, pitch conditions etc, this will all add to what GC mentioned above :)

Is it a laptop or Pc? what card is it?

Thanks, but I've tried that.

The strange thing is that for the first couple of hours it works fine, with the stadium and the sky, so why does it suddenly become jumpy? If the issue was with the level of graphical detail wouldn't it be jumpy from the very first match I play? You'd think my PC could either cope with the graphics or not, not decide after a while that it can no longer cope.

Disabling any background programmes (like anti-virus software) can help aswell I've discovered

It's a PC and the card's a Radeon X1300/X1550 - how does that sound?

I've just read through Jak's problem guide - do you think installing the game using steam would make a difference?
