Just open the game, it will auto update

How do I play with it? I downloaded it but when I start a new save its still the old patch.

the 2nd scree once you start a new game with the "advanced setup" buttons etc the dropdown at the top has the selector

Im at the advanced setup but all I can see is "add/remove leagues", "game start date" and "approximate player count".
