Doing well with my Man Utd team but I can't believe Hernandez. It is the end of February and he already has over 50 goals in all competitions. He has scored 28 goals in the league (Papiss Cisse is second with 18). He also scored 14 goals in the Champions League and I am only in the 2nd leg of the first knock out round. Also a lot of his goals were proper striker finishes rather than simple tap-ins.

Does anyone else think he is too good?

Nah, not overrated at all, most players can have a great season, with real players i'd had Cavani score 75 which could be classed as unrealistic and with regens i've had someone score 147 (ok that's a bit OTT i guess lol but still true).

Just be happy you have an in form striker!!

I had a keeper score on like FM09 or something, Shane Higgs! Bounced over the other keeper lol.
Have that for unbelievable.

try inzaghi. he`s just perfect for man utd. sign pele as his tutor

Nothing to do with Hernandez. Just in FM12 there seems to be slightly more goals then irl. Its not a lot, but when you play a top team, and spend few seasons improving it even more, it occasionaly adds up into top scorers having ridicolous amount of goals.

Could argue that its unrealistic but to be fair it is a game and nobody wants to play loads of 0-0 draws

he's just right. His stats reflect who he is in real life. He is a monster off the ball, but only teams with good midfield players/rooney's DLF can utilize him well enough. Otherwise, he can't pass/cross/dribble well either. Just have that instinct, and fast. Maybe a little lower on composure, but that's alright also

He's more or less exactly right attributes-wise. The problem is the match engine, which favours physical attributes over technical and mental. His blistering pace means that he can take full advantage of his good finishing skills in the game, to the extent that it's slightly unrealistic.

Right, i guess that would explain why i always have Walcott score more goals per season than he has had in his entire rl career.

yeah, i agree completely with GodCubed. i always feel that if a striker is fast with good dribbling, he will be better than a striker thats slightly more technically gifted but less quick. Hernandez is pretty good in the game, but i dont think he's sensational, so he isn't over-rated i guess...
