Recently I brought Jermaine Defoe from Tottenham second season into the game.

He's failed to make an impact and his ratings a frequently around 6.5

What instructions can I give him, preferably playing him as a lone striker as I only have one other striker and thats Robbie Earnshaw.

to be honest he needs another striker to play off,

if you want a lone striker i recommend getting a good complete forward.

but i would try and get another forward , try loaning, if not just play robert earnshaw or play your back up
 
I've got a player who could play in the AMC position as an inside forward, would that work?
 
He's too small to be a lone striker. You need to get a target man to play alongside him and play Defoe as a poacher
 
nottingham forest, but I've barely got any players from the first season.
 
ah, that was in a different game forgot to update it. but yeah I tweaked the clubs finances in this one :P
