Hi guys,
just wanted some advice really.. I've managed to take my beloved Bristol Rovers from league 1 to the prem.. but they have very little money and i'm struggling to keep them afloat, only just above relegation at xmas. Now thing is, i've just been offered the Genoa job, on 45k a week (im on 6k) and a 49m transfer budget... What should i do? stick with my home town club or leave to further my career..

Depends, are you playing a travlers game or are you determined to take Rovers to the top.
Depends on what type of game you are playing.
If you are playing a trevlers game then it's Genoa hands down

Yup, I agree with Clark_Messi. It depends what you want to do. This sort of thing is up to you, not many people can help you with decisions like this.

I don't know really, it was meant to be a realistic management career. I never envisaged getting Rovers out of league 1 let alone to the Prem (i'm new to FM) so was intending to leave but now i don't know... I'm thinking perhaps leaving and having a good career to build my rep.. then when i'm older perhaps going to Rovers and rebuilding them up.. If i'm a top class manager i should be more likely to attract backers and/or players i guess??

cos i've been umming and ahhing for a good 20 minutes to myself and got nowhere, so thought i'd seek a second opinion. never mind.

i suggest you save the game then take the Genoa offer and save it in a different file, then if you are enjoying managing them you can but if you don't you can always go back to rovers

Why don't you save it and then accept the job and save it in a new save.
Then play both and see which one works out better :D

EDIT : Beat me to it there Hamptonmanager

Stay with your home town club until at the end of the season at least, if you leave Bristol will decline down the leagues again and all that hard work you have done would of been a waist of time and effort think about it first before going for the money mate.
