Today Joe Hulbert a virtually unknown bristolian manager has been appointed as manager of Norway to replace Norweigan Legend Drillo as manager, he knows the task is hard and with the scandinavian nation being rather short of staff he has to fix that problem He said today that his key players would be John Carew, Morten Gamst Pedersen and Brede Hangeland. He named Steffan Iversen as captain for norway

Good luck, I'm following.

How far are you planning to get in this with FM10 out in a week?

Joe Hulbert announced 3 new staff members to help out his Norway team, he has announced that Kevin Pressman will be his goalkeeping coach, the 40 year old has played for numerous clubs over his career most recently Leicester City, Joe also announced that Nigel Spackman has been appointed as U21 manager for Norway, the former Chelsea and Liverpool defender managed Barnsley but failed to make an impact, Joe also announced the recruitment of former Cheltenham Town manager John Ward as his Norway U19 manager, the 56 year old has managed numerous clubs most recently Carlisle United

i dont know mate, my aim is to get as far as the world cup qualification coming to an end, i resigned from Bristol City because that would slow my progress, this is going to be a challenge and i dont want to embarass myself by losing to Iceland so i am searching for a tactic which may take time

Joe Hulbert has appointed Craig Hignett as a coach to help him out, he aims to strengthen all the areas of staff.

Joe Hulbert has a full strength squad to field against Iceland, his only doubt is third choice keeper Lars Stubhaug who has a sprained finger

Norway 1-0 Iceland
A good result though we did not finish well at all, Tore Reginussen scored the only goal late into the second half with a header from Morten Gamst Pedersens corner, there is definitely work to do though

haha John Ward, he was our assistant manager at Stockport County for a while, good luck with him :)
and good luck with this challenge :)

Norway 1-1 Scotland
A good performance from the boys, we got off to a flyer with Per Ciljan Skjelbred putting us in front, but darren fletcher put steven fletcher through to tie the game, a series of stunning tackles from the center backs set up a good point for us

Hangeland takes positives out of draw- Norway captain Brede Hangeland said that Norway deserved a point and that there is room for improvement also, he said that Erik Hagen was a good centerback partnership for him, he praised him for covering for the injured Tore Regunissen

Norway 0-0 Holland
A fantastic result for us, we defended brilliantly but honestly we should have won, we mounted some great attacks, especially Morten Gamst Pedersen, However to down this John Carew and Per Ciljan Skjelbred both picked up injuries

Well done some great results there.

Joe Hulbert was today offered the vacant managers job at Aldershot Town, however he turned it down because he wanted to focus on Norway for now, he will maybe take another job next year on top of the norway job
